The Asociación Forestal de Galicia – AFG – is a private non-profit association, established in Santiago de Compostela in 1986. It brings together individual private forest owners and private communal neighbourhood forests in Galicia, Spain.

The AFG has as institutional aims to defend the professional interests of its members, to represent them before the Public Administration and the entities related to the forest sector and to carry out all those activities aiming to improve the forestry and the sustainable management of the forests and which contribute to increase the profitability and the quality of the Galician forest resources.

AFG has a head office in Santiago de Compostela and a technical office in Ponteareas (Pontevedra), Spain. Both offices have all the required technical equipment in order to carry out the tasks demanded by the forest owners.
