The main objective of LIFE REFOREST is to mitigate the soil loss associated to post-fire episodes in forest areas by developing and validating a system based in mycotechnosols.
LIFE REFOREST is a European Project co-funded by the European Union under the LIFE Programme.
The multidisciplinary project consortium is widely linked to the forestry, environmental and biotechnology sectors.
Leaded by CETIM Technological Centre as Project Coordinator, it is composed by the Galician Forestry Association, Forest Association of Portugal FORESTIS, Hifas da Terra, INDUtec Ingenieros, TEN Tratamientos Ecológicos del Noroeste and University of Aveiro.
